At the start in 1919, LH Shingle was a leather tannery located in Camden, NJ. As time passed and synthetic belt styles entered the scene in the US market, Shingle pioneered the development of oriented nylon core belting for power transmission applications. As a result of an array of additional new product developments, LH Shingle evolved into what is now Shingle Belting.

Rennie Keating and her father, Jack Keating, purchased the company over 40 years ago. Under their leadership Shingle Belting expanded into belting products such as Rounthane and Veethane extruded profile belting; Polyflex flat thermoplastic belting; and Nycor nylon core belting.

The company continues to evolve; recently introducing Polyflex Drive positive drive belting, the Tren truly endless product line, and ancillary products such as quick melt belting. Our wide range of resins, engineered compounds, and time-tested manufacturing processes allow us to offer maximum belting performance. We offer a diverse line of products for a variety of industries that rely on our high quality, application-based belting solutions.
