Almex Group Launches Innovative Conveyor Design Course

8/20/2024

After a successful course in April, Almex Group is thrilled to announce another opportunity to attend "Belt Conveyor Design: Engineering, Component Selection, Installation, and Maintenance," led by Dr. Andrew Hustrulid. Scheduled for October 16-18, 2024, at the Colorado School of Mines, this course is set to revolutionize the way design engineers, owners, and operators of belt conveyors enhance the performance and reliability of their systems.

This comprehensive course covers key topics such as conveyor component selection, modern repair techniques, and system monitoring. Attendees will explore advanced technologies like digital twin, lasers, RFID tags, thermal imaging, and AI will be introduced, showcasing their applications in conveyor systems. The curriculum offers insights from industry experts, providing practical knowledge beyond traditional resources.

The three-day program awards 2.1 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) and is designed for professionals in mining, power plants, and more. Those without engineering degrees are welcome.

Registration is open, with an early registration fee of $1,795.00 USD and regular fees at $1,995.00 USD; which includes tuition, materials, and lunch.
