This little blue belt was born in the summer of 2024 in Japan, designed for the fascinating clients we encountered along the way. Japan’s relentless pursuit of innovation and perfection propelled us further in the technical development of this belt, confidently breaking through two major bottlenecks in the conveyor belt industry.

As society continues to evolve, new industries and products emerge, and conveyor belts, like magicians, constantly innovate with new materials and formulas to meet diverse needs. Take the sticky treats we love, such as candies and butter. These high-viscosity items place a heavy burden on conveyor belts during production and processing, severely challenging their lifespan and increasing replacement costs. Despite a declining global population, food production remains at a high level, especially in Japan.

Sometimes, unexpected efforts bear surprising results. In 2024, as we worked towards our vision of establishing our products in the Japanese market, fate stepped in. MIYUKIbelting developed and launched a brand-new food-grade conveyor belt, solving a challenging problem for Japanese clients. We obtained Japan’s food safety certification, and this product is set to be fully launched in the market in the first quarter of 2025.

The second bottleneck we tackled was edge-sealing technology.

We named the edge-sealing process for the blue belt “Typhon,” inspired by the word “typhoon,” which symbolizes immense power and the ability to withstand extreme challenges. It represents a spirit of defying authority and guarding the boundaries, signifying a whirlwind of innovation sweeping across the globe. No matter the problem, we are always prepared to push the limits. As boundary guardians, our next destination will take us even further.
