Attendees of NIBA's Introduction to the Key Principles & Best Practices of Lightweight Belting seminar come away with a better understanding of the fundamental principles and essential techniques of lightweight belting.  Attendees will participate in three consecutive 60 minute virtual classroom sessions that will provide the basics of industry standards on belt conveyor operation to include:

  • Belt Construction 
    • Fabric
    • Skim
    • Covers/Compounds
    • Additives
    • Profiles
  • Splicing Methods for Traditional Belt
    • Mechanical belt fasteners
    • Endless splicing
    • Hybrid splicing

This course will take place in one hour increments over three consecutive weeks from December 3, 2020 - December 17, 2020.
